Fitzgerald bronze fan from Cleveland, OH on 08/11/2013 – Verified Buyer
I ordered the bronze finish. It turns out the bronze finish is more like brown paint. The 3 prong plug has a fuse built in it to protect the motor. The fan can be used as a table fan or a wall mount. The wall mount looks like a fairly simple hook up. They provide the bracket , you reposition the fan housing . Hang on bracket and use existng cord to nearest plug. Its not a hard wire set up. You are limited by the cord lenght . Also I noted through some of my own experimentation , that the wall mount option would only be efffective in a confined area, like a small booth or right near a reading chair. I was a little dissapointed there. But it works well on my kitchen table. Runs quiet and I would say all in all a pretty good fan. A little pricey but the laborers deserve their living.

Just a table fan; misleading pictures, and poor construction. from CA on 04/20/2015
This fan is sold as both a table fan and wall fan.
It is only a table fan.
The power cord has a fuse in it (like cheap Christmas lights); if you cut the cord to hard wire it, the warranty is voided.
There is cut out on the bottom of the fan to allow the cord to go down the wall.
To have it done , as in the picture, would require a huge recessed box with an outlet and enough room for all the cord.
As the master electrician who saw my fan said; "This, as sold, is not a wall mountable fan".
The switch broke after two uses, but since the cord was cut, there is no warranty.

Pros: Nice table fan.
Cons: Misleading pictures. Only to be used as table fan, and then for such an expensive fan, a cheap switch is used.

Solid construction, Nice design from Woodland Hills, CA on 07/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
I've had the Fitzgerald for a few weeks now and am very happy with it. The fan is solid and works well. The sound of fan and the nice air flow it provides help me sleep better in the warm summer nights. It looks pretty cool, as well.

Pros: Solid, consistent sound, good looks
Cons: None, so far

Love the look of the Art Deco era. from MECHANICSBURG, PA on 07/13/2015 – Verified Buyer
Wall mounted in master bedroom. Circulates air really well.

Pros: Air speeds, durability, oscillating
Cons: Switch location, remote would have been useful

Questions & Answers

Q. "Does the fan tilt front to back?" — Alec
A. "Hi Alec, this fan does tilt front to back."
— Bentley from Wayfair Supply
Q. "How do you clean the blades of this fan?" — Karen
A. "Hi Karen, periodic cleaning of your fan is the only maintenance that is needed. When cleaning, use only a soft brush or lint free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. Abrasive and/or non-abrasive cleaning agents are not required and should be avoided to prevent damage to finish."
