Good idea - bad execution
Deana from Los Angeles
I actually ordered two of these, here are my thoughts: 1) COLOR (OK-ish): I had read the other reviews and saw that folks had complained that these cabinets were in fact (not brown, but black). I wanted black, so I was excited and ordered them. They are in fact, a very very VERY dark brown. I was kind of disappointed, but I decided they were really close to what I would need, so I kept them. 2) INSTRUCTIONS (TERRIBLE): These are self assemble cabinets, and I've assembled many of these so I was not unfamiliar with the process, but I have to say ... whomever put the assembly instruction booklet together for these could have done a better job. There are a lot of pictures, but there are no words (at all) to describe stuff, (ie - take 4 of the 3 screws for this part here). Could be better. 3) QUALITY (HIT OR MISS): The first cabinet I assembled had a few scratches here and there, but really it was pretty good. The second cabinet however - it was like I got the box with all the broken mis-matched leftover parts that were thrown into one box. One of the main support pieces (where they have a hole drilled in that you connect with a cam lock) was literally drilled through the side (so that it was no longer in the shape of a circle, but a C that was cut out of the side). This made the entire cabinet not square, so when it came to assembling the other parts everything was just that much more off. Also, the guides for the drawer to slide out were cracked. This meant that every time you pulled the drawer out it fell off the guide and then you couldn't push it back in unless you lifted up the drawer, put it back on the guide and then ever so carefully tried to slide it back in. I did end up going to a hardware store, where I was able to purchase some 116 wood that I cut and nailed onto the guides myself to fix the problem, but really - the second cabinet was a piece of junk! In the end, I decided that these cabinets are fine for something temporary (they are light, easy to move, and they wobble an awful lot). However, I guess you could say they will serve as a fine sample for me to take to a real cabinet maker someday who could make a good quality version of this cabinet.

Not quite sturdy as i hoped-but you get what you pay for, fairly easy to set up-- even though some parts were miss-labeled. Using this as a little pantry closet for a small half bathroom in a caped area and it fit perfectly between the sink and a wall.
Great, once put together

I love this item. The only reason for 4 stars was because it was a major pain to put together. The holes didn't always line up and there were some parts in the instructions that didn't give enough information.

Pleased with my purchase. A great addition to the bathroom.
Mislabeled parts, scratches on product when arrived

You have to put this together yourself, no big deal except parts are mislabeled and confusing. Three of the wood pieces had damage and scratches right out of the box. Would not recommend this for the price and hassle.
great for the bathroom

holds toilet paper, extra towels... just little necessities in the bathroom. Good quality and looks great.
Very nice cabinet

I am not a handy person but this cabinet was easy to put together. Very lovely.

It's a nice table. It looks closer to black than espresso. It certainly isn't worth [$]. If I saw it before I bought, I would've spent no more than $60 on it.
