this is perfect for our early learning center for toys and educational items. love the different size of shelving, and it is made very well!

Overall this cabinet is great. There was one piece with minor damage and waiting for replacement. There was also an error in the description and the 30" cabinet is also 5 compartments rather than 8 as stated on the web page. I am glad that it is 5 since 8 would have been very small spaces! Would recommend and works great for storing my kids toys. It really fits a lot of storage bens and looks great!

Sturdy unit. Pre-construct well thought out. Unit can be assembled & disassembled without degrading the quality. However, the laminate absolutely sucks. Started peeling within 1 month Implemented as a learning center in my Childcare facility. I am in process of installing a quality/durable laminate on them for my needs. "No free lunch". I got what I paid for.

We use this shelf to organize toys (better than a toy box which was just getting dumped all over the floor). It makes our play area more organized, as my kids will take a toy off the shelf and put it back in the same spot when they are done. The shelf it sturdy - I am not afraid of it falling on anyone. It is very similar to shelves in my daughter's preschool classroom. It took a little time to put together but I was able to do it myself and it went fine. Tightening the cams was the most annoying part (I hate those cam things - which is why I gave this shelf 4 instead of 5 stars). The shelf was light weight enough for me to move into place easily but sturdy enough I am not afraid it will fall apart when used by toddlers and preschoolers. I would recommend this shelf to my friends. It can hold a lot of toys and looks nice in our living room.

I use them as bookcases and am very impressed with their strength. The finish and style fit nicely into an adult setting. Not just for kids!

ez to assemble, very good construction

Bought this as a bookshelf for my 2 year old, in the 30"h 48"w. It holds her tallest and widest books with no problem, and it fits really well with the scandinavian aesthetic of her new "big girl" room. My friend (a montessori teacher) was so impressed with it she wants to buy one too. The price here is better than other sites. Much better quality than [...], but still not too pricey. We did not use the included casters, just put some felt furniture feet on the bottom.

I purchased two of the 30 inch units and two of the 36 inch units -- used them to create a safe play area in a finished basement.( we did not use the rollers but rather purchased additional hardware at a local hardware store to secure the cabinets to one another and to the floor- and then attached a child's gate as an entrance) The cabinets are very well made and are attractive both from the front and the back. Very pleased with the product and the end result. Highly recommend as a quality product.

I shopped around for a reasonably-priced durable, sturdy wood cabinet for my toddler son -- and this ended up being perfect. I wanted something that would be heavy enough so that he couldn't move/pull down on himself, and had enough compartments for him to store his various books and toys. I think it will be something he'll grow into. This was easy to put together (I'm a mom in her 30s) though it did take some time. S[...] the price couldn't be beat. I ended up going with the 24" height shelf, and like that my son can just reach it to put stuff on.
