Overall this cabinet is sturdy and operates well. I thought it might have been a little more rugged, but it is more than adequate for my home office needs. The main reasons I bought this unit are the ball bearing drawers, it has a lock, and it is described as a commercial unit. The so called home units are really too flimsy.

My husband had an old filing cabinet that was all bent and broken. I ordered this one for him. The first one that came was damaged (not sure if it was the manufacturer or the shipper who caused the damage). I contacted Wayfair and they were fabulous. They strive for customer satisfaction. They immediately sent a replacement (which arrived in perfect condition) and issued me instructions regarding the damaged filing cabinet, which required no effort on my part. I am really satisfied with this company and will surely order from them again. Back to the filing cabinet - it is sturdy and far surpasses the one that it replaced in my husband's office. We ordered it in black. It looks great and it's a great value. I highly recommend this filing cabinet and Wayfair.
