Improved version of the standard Cadet Com-Pak heaters from VANCOUVER, WA on 10/13/2015 – Verified Buyer
The newly designed Com-Pak heaters with integrated digital control are much improved over the original design. With three heat levels and three fan speeds which are automatically controlled, heating is much more even and the unit is much quieter when the room reaches the desired temperature. The night/away setting is a great way to quickly change between two temperature set points which are both user settable. The new heater can easily be installed in existing Cadet wall cans, or use the included wall can for new installations.

Pros: Quieter with more even heating and can be installed in existing wall cans.
Cons: None

Great replacement heater from Graham, WA on 09/19/2015 – Verified Buyer
I needed to replace aging Cadet heaters and found this model that will directly replace my old heaters, require minimal electrical work. They look nice, which pleased my wife, and are supposed to save up to 30% on electricity.

Pros: no new carpentry work to replace a compatible heater
Cons: High cost compaired to basic model, but I found a 10% off coupon, which helps.

Love this heater! from Vancouver, WA on 02/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
I bought this to replace the broken one in my bedroom that was put in when the house was built in 1981. It's quiet and keeps my room comfortable. One thing to keep in mind is that is smaller than the older models so you'll either need to patch the drywall to install this or buy an adapter plate. Was easy to install with the adapter plate and I'll be replacing the rest of the wall heaters with these.

Nice Heater for localized heating and furnace backup from Eagle River, WI on 11/20/2014 – Verified Buyer
With limited electrical experience the hookup is easy. We use the heater for two reasons: 1) when I wake up at night and the thermostat is set back, I can heat our small computer room/reading room without heating the entire house and 2) if the furnace goes out it will add heat giving more time for repairs. We also have a similar Cadet "timer" model that has worked well for years.

Easy install with limited electrical and carpenter experience
Not a full time source of heat as electric is much more expensive to run than gas. Used for localized only.
