The product arrived late in the day on a Friday. As I opened the box to begin assembly I noticed several of the main boards had been damaged. I knew that it was press board when I ordered so I shouldn't of been too surprised. I discovered large cracks on two of the vertical support boards. I tried calling the associated phone numbers for the company to discover that they had closed for the weekend. The desk was for my 13 year old son who had been more than anxious for its arrival. I explained to him that we would need to wait to speak to the company and have replacement pieces shipped before we could assemble or we could cross our fingers and assemble it as is. He opted to accept it as is. Aesthetically it is fine, as the cracks are not visible from the front, however structurally the unit has been compromised. With todays electronics being so light I think we may get by with it. The true test will come when he decides to move it to another location. With that said, I would like to add that it was fairly easy to assemble and was true to the description. My son is pleased with the unit but I think in the future I would spend a little more money for a higher end unit fabricated from solid wood.
Nice looking desk. Typical downfalls
John The Lineman from Old Bridge NJ – Verified Buyer
This is a great looking desk with the typical problems. Assembly was moderate and took about 1 1/2 hours. The assembly instructions were hard to understand, like most put it together desks, at times and the diagrams were not clearly draw. Most of the assembly is screwing philips head screws into partical board construction. Like most desks, some of the screws stripped when installing so make sure you have plenty of Elmers Glue on hand to put intot he holes as you put it together. Another drawback is that the desk dosen't fit against either wall. If you are putting the desk on a wall that has baseboard molding on it, the desktop will be about 3/4" away from the wall. I believe that most desks are like this. It would be better if the desk top had a 1" over hang on the back and side so pencils and papers couldn't fall of the desk. I would recomend this desk to a friend because most of the drawbacks are similar to any other desk you would buy for any manufacturer.

Beautiful piece of furniture and perfect for my small space. I am not the best at assembling items but was very easy for me to do. Very well pleased with it.
My 9 year old daughter loves it.

It looks great and my daughter loves it. BUT,the wood finish is wearing away right on the edge in front of the keyboard. We see white where the wood finish should be.

Perfect fit for our small office which includes a hideabed. Easy to assemble; drawers were easy to adjust per the excellent directions.

This was more-or-less what I expected. On the downside, it is composed of the same cheap press board that all comparable "assemble it yourself" furniture is made of. The finish, I'm afraid, is a little more susceptible to scratches than other pieces I've put together. Assembly was not difficult, although there are a ton of pieces. The most frustrating part is hammering the cardboard backing in place without cracking the press board if a nail glances too close to the edge. Once standing, though, this unit looks impressive enough. I bought it for over $200, but I would say it'd be worth it if you can find it for about $150 or less.
Could have been better

I suppose it's fair quality for the money. Edges are fraying in places, Several scratches out of the box. The very last piece (the raised top section) has a couple of deeper scratches, one that look like someone tried to buff out/hide about 2" diameter - hard to see, but still. If it hadn't been the last major piece, I "may" would have returned, but considering it was practically done - I guess I can live with it. Two of the three drawers were labeled backwards. Once they were assembled and put into the tracks, they wouldn't go all the way closed - stuck out about an inch.Double checked to see if I had the labeling wrong - did not. Compared them to the one that worked, disassembled the 2 incorrect ones, turned the sides and reassembled. I'm sure some of the issues were just flukes, not all have scratches, etc. Overall I give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Meeta our needs

We needed a desk that would not take up so much space. This one did the trick and was easy to put together.
DO NOT waste your money buying this!!!

The product is absolutely shaky when configured. The wood quality is simply disappointing as it rips off from the edges after few weeks. The drawers are sloppy and jerky and at times they fall out when slid. The keyboard tray has to be muscled through to pull out. I won't recommend this product to anyone esp. when I lost almost $200 on it and had to trash it in less than an year of use. And it becomes a throw-away waste if you are moving out of your house as it just won't fit into the door panels. You literally have to break it and trash it as the counter top screws cannot be removed off the drawers panel. What a bummer!
