Would not purchase again. from Yarmouth Port, MA on 03/04/2015 – Verified Buyer
The product arrived late in the day on a Friday. As I opened the box to begin assembly I noticed several of the main boards had been damaged. I knew that it was press board when I ordered so I shouldn't of been too surprised. I discovered large cracks on two of the vertical support boards. I tried calling the associated phone numbers for the company to discover that they had closed for the weekend. The desk was for my 13 year old son who had been more than anxious for its arrival. I explained to him that we would need to wait to speak to the company and have replacement pieces shipped before we could assemble or we could cross our fingers and assemble it as is. He opted to accept it as is. Aesthetically it is fine, as the cracks are not visible from the front, however structurally the unit has been compromised. With todays electronics being so light I think we may get by with it. The true test will come when he decides to move it to another location. With that said, I would like to add that it was fairly easy to assemble and was true to the description. My son is pleased with the unit but I think in the future I would spend a little more money for a higher end unit fabricated from solid wood.

A little disappointed from NJ on 01/01/2016 – Verified Buyer
Owned practically the exact same desk and just wanted to replace it because the front, right leg was damaged by dogs, and the desk surface was worn.
The original desk seemed to have better craftsmanship and attention to detail: for example, the new desk had a shelf that showed factory-drilled holes and did not come with a sliding hide-away keyboard shelf. Luckily, I could just remove the keyboard shelf from the old one and mount it on the new one.
The instructions were ver clear, and all of the hardware was accounted for. I would be hesitant to purchase again in the future, knowing that quality has already taken a town-turn.

It's Alright from Ann Arbor, MI on 08/11/2012 – Verified Buyer
This was more-or-less what I expected. On the downside, it is composed of the same cheap press board that all comparable "assemble it yourself" furniture is made of. The finish, I'm afraid, is a little more susceptible to scratches than other pieces I've put together. Assembly was not difficult, although there are a ton of pieces. The most frustrating part is hammering the cardboard backing in place without cracking the press board if a nail glances too close to the edge.

Once standing, though, this unit looks impressive enough. I bought it for over $200, but I would say it'd be worth it if you can find it for about $150 or less.

Could have been better from Anderson, SC on 06/07/2012 – Verified Buyer
I suppose it's fair quality for the money. Edges are fraying in places, Several scratches out of the box. The very last piece (the raised top section) has a couple of deeper scratches, one that look like someone tried to buff out/hide about 2" diameter - hard to see, but still. If it hadn't been the last major piece, I "may" would have returned, but considering it was practically done - I guess I can live with it. Two of the three drawers were labeled backwards. Once they were assembled and put into the tracks, they wouldn't go all the way closed - stuck out about an inch.Double checked to see if I had the labeling wrong - did not. Compared them to the one that worked, disassembled the 2 incorrect ones, turned the sides and reassembled. I'm sure some of the issues were just flukes, not all have scratches, etc. Overall I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Nice corner desk, but impossible to move. from Cambridge, MA on 10/02/2015 – Verified Buyer
This desk looks exactly like the photo and I quite liked the drawers and storage spaces. However, I moved apartments after this was put together and it was pretty much impossible to take the unit apart again or move it out of the apartment. So I had to leave it behind!

Pros: Looks like photo. Great storage spaces.
Cons: Unable to take apart or move out of apartment.

Decent Desk from Virginia Beach, VA on 10/20/2015 – Verified Buyer
This desk provides plenty of space and storage. My one issue is how un-sturdy it is. A slight bump makes my computer monitor shake heavily.

Nice looking desk. Typical downfalls from Old Bridge NJ on 08/29/2010 – Verified Buyer
This is a great looking desk with the typical problems. Assembly was moderate and took about 1 1/2 hours. The assembly instructions were hard to understand, like most put it together desks, at times and the diagrams were not clearly draw.
Most of the assembly is screwing philips head screws into partical board construction. Like most desks, some of the screws stripped when installing so make sure you have plenty of Elmers Glue on hand to put intot he holes as you put it together.
Another drawback is that the desk dosen't fit against either wall. If you are putting the desk on a wall that has baseboard molding on it, the desktop will be about 3/4" away from the wall. I believe that most desks are like this. It would be better if the desk top had a 1" over hang on the back and side so pencils and papers couldn't fall of the desk.
I would recomend this desk to a friend because most of the drawbacks are similar to any other desk you would buy for any manufacturer.

corner desk from Allen Park, MI on 11/11/2012 – Verified Buyer
Fast shipping, good looking desk had a few scratches on it out of the box. The door and drawers do not fit perfectly as they should, the company offered to send another piece to try and fix the issue and I would have had to take apart the entire desk which was not an easy task to begin with and I have put together many pieces of furniture in my day so I deffered. The look is beautiful but had I known the trouble I was giong to endure with the assembly and the fit of the pieces not being as they should I probably would not have purchased "this" desk.
