Great desk for the money, but some minor tips and warnings.

Great deal from Wayfair with the free shipping. Fedex delivered it as close as they could to the back door of my house, and the boxes were wrapped in plastic, which was greatly appreciated. Overall this a nice desk. It looks good, and it designed well. The 6 feet are screw adjusted to help level the desk. There are cable-management ports on the back corner of the top, underneath the back corner, and on the sides. 2 plastic cable management racks are included to install below as shown in the pictures. I ordered 2 corner desks and one of the matching 6' straight desks, and 4 of the 6 plastic trays were broken, so a warning there. There was also some scuffing around the edges of the pieces. These desks are VERY heavy, each box is over 100 pounds, and they're basically protected by the cardboard box and some light styrofoam, so it's an unfortunate reality that these will suffer some damage in shipping. But the desk top and the sides are nearly perfect, so I didn't feel a need to complain or return anything. I'm happy with the desks and the series in general, the pieces match perfectly and there are a lot of options to build up. Since the desks are so large and heavy, I'd recommend 2 people to assemble and put them into place. Personally I did it myself, so it can be done solo, but you would need to be able to lift 100 pounds, and have a lot of work space. I put carpet pieces under everything and assembled them upside down, then tipped it on the side an then on the feet, slowly and carefully. Do NOT tip/lean on the long metal base the feet screw into, they will bend. I just wish that these things didn't have to all be made of glued/compressed sawdust. They're really heavy, and the quality of the "boards" really are not any better than real wood. But unfortunately these are the options available.
Nice for the price

The is a great intermediate piece if you are looking for a simple, no drawers desk this size and want something that looks better than a typical utility table and blends in with solid wood furniture-- and you don't want to spend a whole lot. I got this to form an L arrangement with an antique desk in a room with various other pieces stained in varying shades of the color of this desk. Although the black legs give it away it, it blends in fine. Another plus is that there is lots of space underneath. I tucked a bookshelf under it. It is very heavy (being made of compressed particle board), but nevertheless was easy to put together. You do need another person to help with lifting though. I haven't had it long enough to see how the veneer on this desk holds up with use. I would be cautious about doing things like pushing equipment around on it or anything that scratches, as the veneer is pretty thin (I have a dinged back corner, so I can see just how thin it is). When I put a hutch on it, I put felt pads on the bottom of the hutch first.
Service and product couldn't be better

Workmanship, fit, and finish is A+. There were no scratches, dents or other imperfections in any of the pieces. All the parts fit perfectly. No parts were missing. The cable routing channels are a bit flimsy, but, hay, they do the job. Color: Trying to determine what the finish will actually look like is a bit of a challenge. So off to Staples I went to see if a floor sample might give me a clue. No such luck. However, they did have color sample leaflets and also some actual samples for Staples furniture which appeared to be the same as for this desk and which turned out to be the case. So, I was able to see exactly what "light cherry" looks like -- the finish looks exactly like the Staples sample. Assembly: The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, although I elected to put the top on after the base was assembled and upright. This was a bit of a challenge doing it by myself since the top is Very Heavy. I Highly recommend two people to get it up on the base if you do it this way. In any case, be careful of the edges since rough handling (dragging, bumping, scraping) could easily damage the finish. The feet are easy to adjust, although I elected to turn them all the way in since it's on thick carpet and I prefer to have the weight distributed along the entire length of the base -- it seems to have "settled in" with no significant warping/distortion due to the bit of uneveness of the floor. Use: It's sturdy. I've got a printer and scanner in each corner, and speakers, and a PC screen in the middle and there is no apparent bowing -- don't know if I'd try standing in the middle of it :) The desk top has a cable-through hole in each corner and a plastic insert is provided for each hole. The inserts stick up about 1/8th inch so I had to remove them so my printer and scanner would sit flat The finish seems to be doing well, although I've only had the desk for a month or so....time will tell. I like that I can put a cup of coffee directly on it without damage (so far :) Over all, I'm very please with the desk! A+

The desk has proven to be an excellent purchase. I'm an engineering student and having a dual monitor setup along with plenty of work space for books/laptop/tablet is not an issue on this desk. I was somewhat worried about the arrival condition because some had mentioned shipping issues. My box came packed extremely well and the contents were laid out nicely with styrofoam inserts to protect them from moving. It was easy to assemble on my own some parts were a bit heavy but to me that's a good thing as the desk feels extremely sturdy. Couldn't be happier...

In our office, we have desks that are about half this size and they are just too small to work on. We ordered this one and it is fabulous (and it still matches our old ones!). I wish that it had a supply tray, but with all the space, I can get a desktop organizer. It was very easy to put together and very sturdy. I would definitely recommend for any office. There is a hutch attachment if you want more storage space.

I am happy with the quality and price paid. Provides generous work space and works out well in a small office connecting with other desks.

Very sturdy and large Took about 40 minutes to assemble, only the last step needs an extra hand to lift the top

Just what I needed. Lots of room easy assembly. Love the addition of the cable trays underneath. Two computers and 4 monitors fit great.
