Good value for the price

This is a heavy, substantial desk. It needs assembly, and this is ideally a 2-person job. My husband and I are accustomed to assembling furniture, but it still took us 7 hours to put together (58 pages of assembly diagrams). But now that it's together, I LOVE it. My only complaint (other than the fact I wasn't told to expect 2 separate tracking numbers) is that some of the finish leaves a bit to be desired. It's all melamine and particle board, and the corners/edges are sort of like contact paper, which was lifting in a few areas. I pressed them down and they're staying put. The instructions were excellent (everything is in pictographs, so don't worry about a language barrier). The inventory sheet was perfect. And each assembly sheet showed how many screws/pegs, etc. needed for each part of the sub-assembly. So we didn't have anything missing nor did we end up with extra parts. All in all, I do recommend this desk. Just be sure to schedule a full day - and two people - to assemble it.

Granted it is a pain to put together, but with 2 people it can be accomplished (actually a few step do indeed require 2 people). I have another desk exactly like this, and we bought a second to set up as a mirror reverse of the first. Therefore, I believe I can accurately describe how well it holds up.... The one down side is the keyboard tray. The tray on the first desk only lasted a few months before the screws came out and the tray fell off. due to the nature of the MDF board, placing the screws back in at the same place is impossible. Also, the keyboard tray has no lip (so things can easily fall off.) As for the rest of the desk, I have been extremely pleased. It has put up with a lot of things being spilled on it and is still in good condition. (make sure to use a mouse pad if you keep your mouse on the top) On the whole, I recommend this desk, but I would suggest buying a different keyboard tray and nixing the one that comes with it.

This desk came very well packaged in two (very heavy) boxes. I sometimes wonder how they fit all those pieces just so for shipping as it seems like a puzzle. All of the parts and assemblies were there but there were no extras. Thankfully none were needed. The desk was easily assembled by myself until time to attach all the large pieces together, then I had to ask for hubby's help. The result is a handsome unit, larger than I really was looking for but I couldn't find a smaller corner desk with the file storage I wanted. I am overall very happy with this desk, but may swap out the hardware for some more up to date brushed nickle. The finish is very nice for an inexpensive desk. Lots of filing space none
Great Desk. Very high quality material.

The desk is a very high quality material. Only one screw was too short. Might have been nice to have a few extra screws. My only complaint was the packaging. The Fed Ex driver had a problem getting the box from the truck to my porch because it was so big and heavy. It was too heavy to lift so he slid it across the driveway and the box started falling to pieces. I tried to hold the corners so we could lift it to the porch and they tore apart in my hands. When we did manage to lift the box and try to slide it into the door, the bottom fell apart and I had desk parts all over my porch. I was really afraid some pieces would have been scratched but luckily not so. Great product, very poor packaging.

Only include 4 stars because of the assembly process. As others have shared, the assembly of this product is quite involved. It's best to have someone who is used to assembling products put it together, if possible. The instructions are accurate, with very few mistakes. Our package had all parts in great condition, only one piece had some holes drilled in the wrong places, but we did not bother to call for a replacement because it was easily fixable. The product arrived in two boxes and yes, they were heavy, required two people to move. Once done it looks beautiful and is very functional. Would recommend it highly.

If you are looking for high quality at a reasonable price then you have found it. It comes in two boxes and it is heavy. I would tell you to put it together in the area where it will be used. The instructions are right on, but it does take two people at different stages. It is worth the time and effort putting this desk together. We are so pleased and know you will be also to have this beautiful desk in your office. We are using it in our home office since we are retired.
Love the Desk!

I spent a significant amount of time searching for a desk to fill the office space that I have in home. During my search, I came across the L shape desk which was not something that I had really given a lot of thought to but after researching carefully, I knew I had found what I needed. This desk in perfect for the space that I have and allows be a lot of surface space which makes multitasking easier and the style is very classic. The assembly time was not as significant as most noted. I was able to spend time with the project and was done in about 4-5 hours. The finish is nice and I am overall very happy with the desk and the decision to purchase it.

Quicker than expected on shipping which is awsome except if it wasn't for our neighbor office friends we wouldn't have known they arrived because we didn't get a heads up from the company that they were going to be early. Someone could've stolen our order but they were prompt about giving us the notification that they would be there 3 days after they actually delivered upon ordering. besides that we love the quality of the product. We had to assemble it ourselves, that was ok with us it saved us lots of money as a result. We are satisfied with the product and service just next time if their early we hope they will let us know through email or text which is faster.
The desk is awesome but...

It is a bear to put together! It came with some minor dings but the real issue I had was with missing screws or not enough of them. Other than that it looks great, sturdy and well worth the money if you'd like an inexpensive desk that looks like it costs a lot more. If it wasn't for all the minor issues I would have given this desk 5 stars! Sturdy, looks great, inexpensive. I would have liked to have some holes in the top of the desk to hide the wires for some of the devices which aren't wiresless.

As others have noted, the two boxes are very heavy and assistance is needed to move them. Assemble it in the place it will occupy. Amazing that only two boxes were needed; but note that the parts you'll need for one step may be in both boxes. I ended up carefully unpacking both and then arranging the parts I'd need step-by-step. Since the desk can be configured more than one way, read through the directions first so you won't accidentally start the wrong step when you get to that stage. Took about 8 hours to assemble.
