When I lived in a smaller condo a few years ago I had to downsize to a smaller desk and missed the space terribly. Now that we have a larger space, I couldn't wait to purchase a new desk that looked modern and had the space and storage I was looking for. This desk does not disappoint! It is incredibly good looking and the hutch offers amazing storage. It wasn't hard to put together really, just required about 4 hours, some patience and two sets of hands. Nothing arrived damaged at all either, which is always a fear. I also like that the hutch fits on either side of the desk, because I had trouble finding a desk with a hutch on the right so it didn't block my window. Just perfect!

We bought this desk for a small office in our church and we have had it for 3 months. It is a very nice looking desk with the extra storage that we needed, but the quality will not withstand time. Because it is good looking and has storage for an affordable price, I almost gave it 2 stars, because I'm not sure how long it will hold up. The edges have a laminate stripping that is peeling off already, the surface scratches easily and the face of the desk (we have it facing out into the office instead of up to a wall) has a section of the cardboard backing (covers the back of the drawers) is peeling and it is put on with little tack type nails and there is no way to hide the small nails when it's not against a wall. It is missing the brackets to mount the hutch to the desk, but we have it sitting on the desk and it seems to be ok. The color is brown as described, however we have it in an office with black shelves and black couch and it doesn't clash. The build is strong and sturdy, it doesn't shake or wobble at all. It did take quite a while to put together:)

A good thing to keep in mind prior to purchasing this desk is that you will be *much* better off using a staple gun to secure the cardboard backing, rather than using the nails that come with it. Another factor to point out is that is scratches pretty easily. Lastly, while the instructions are clear it will still take a while to piece together.

For the price, the desk is great! The whole thing comes in two boxes and every single piece, including every knob and drawer has to be put together piece by piece. My husband had no troubles but it was time consuming and if you are not very handy wouldn't be the right desk for you.

This took my husband and I about a day to put together. We used an electric screw driver, to save time and it worked out perfect. Go slow and read the instructions. Trust me this was a time consuming job, and at first a bit overwhelming, but in the end it fit together perfect! I love our new desk and hutch. It looks very nice and has a cool middle hidden hinged door in the center which is very pretty. The color is very rich and the over all quality is nice.
Nice piece but allow a whole day to put it together

Nice office desk at a good value. If you don't mind RTA furniture and the time it takes to put it together this is a nice looking desk.

Love the desk...the assembly project not so much. It was quite the project to get it put together. I had a hard time getting the drawers adjusted and the cabinet doors on just right. It seems the screws they sent for the rails on the drawers, the screw heads are too large and stick up out of the rails so the drawers don't glide easily. I'm going to have to switch those out and then I think it'll work just fine. I really like the desk though. It's just what we wanted and was much needed.

All the other reviews have hit the nail on the head, It takes a while to assemble, The assembly manual is good, Not as good as one I got from Sauder recently, But still good enough to understand without pulling your hair out.
love this computer table!

The assembly for this table took forever (13 hours to be exact) but it was totally worth it for the price we paid. Everyone that comes to our house makes a comment on how nice this desk looks in our den! It really looks like we spent over $1000 on it, but we didnt! ;)
Clean and classic

I love the workspace this desk created. There is plenty of room for my two computer monitors. It makes working from home comfortable and easy.
