Great product, everything else not so much

Most importantly, the bookshelf is sturdy and looks good. Color came out as expected. Not too difficult to put together. I would recommend this bookshelf if you're looking for a professional style and a reasonable price. My concern came on the shipping and service. Package originally arrived via UPS and while unpacking I discovered that 4 of the longer, thinner pieces were snapped in half. Following the manual, I called Bush Furniture directly and they were helpful in sending the replacement pieces. On the phone call, I verified twice the item number of the pieces that were broken. Upon receiving the replacement pieces, I was discouraged to see that they shipped me the wrong pieces. I called again and they thankfully shipped the incorrect part again. While I am very grateful that Bush responds quickly, and understand that accidents can happen, the chosen shipment method and incorrect replacement part was very disappointing and delayed the timing of having the bookshelf built by multiple weeks.
Looks good, a bit janky

This bookcase took me about an hour to put together - it wasn't difficult, just kind of a pain (lots of hardware). The parts mostly fit together, though the side panels (which add a nice touch to the overall look) don't fit perfectly, and shift slightly. I'll probably glue them to make sure they stay in place. I like the detailing of the bookcase, which makes it seem like more than just some shelves - it doesn't look like something that came in pieces and was assembled at home, at least from a distance.
Good produc, but one disappointing surprise.t

Very nice for the price except for the "fake" back wall---basically a tri-fold screen. Photo and description do not show this. Takes 2-3 hours for assembly. Pros: Pretty finish and seems fairly sturdy overall. Cons: Cheap, ugly "fake" back. Just a tri-fold screen colored to match the rest of the finish!

Aesthetically, this bookcase is very attractive and looks beautiful in my home--very sturdy as well. However, I would not purchase again due to the company's poor attempt at considering ease of construction. I was literally sore and exhausted after having to manually and forcefully insert so many screws, etc--an electric screwdriver won't work here. I purchased another piece by another company--same screws but easy to insert. This product looks great, but construction is tiresome.

I absolutely love this bookcase. Loved the first one so much I bought an additional three bookcases for my office! The only problem I had is that the screws provided to attach the bottom part of the bookcase were too small (the holes made in the wood were too large). Luckily the handyman in my building was able to give me 2 larger screws to use. However the bookcases are easy to put together but time consuming - about 2 hrs each. The end product is just gorgeous though. It looks just the photograph in terms of colour and design AND has the added benefit of being of being durable, that is the shelves are strong and can hold a lot of books.

I bought 5 of these for my study after seeing them in someone else's home. They look rich and expensive but are very reasonably priced on Wayfair. I built them all myself and only had a small problem with the screws for the bottom leg supports being a bit too short so I used other ones in my house. It took about an hour per bookcase with only one person doing it, would be shorter if I had help. The middle shelf is not adjustable since it is a supporting shelf, but the others all move so it's pretty easy to accommodate all my books and their various heights. Very happy with this purchase

This bookcase is excellent! It took my husband 2 hours to put together but he was impressed with the quality of the pieces and how well they were finished, meaning everything matched for an easy assemble .. looks expensive .. the backing is not perfect as it is a hard cardboard but that is perfectly OK as the colour matches and items on the shelves do tend to cover the back somewhat. Buy it you'll be happy ..

After moving into a new home, we realized that we needed bookcases because our previous home had built-in cases. After shopping local furniture stores, and deciding on a very plain bookcase, we found these on Wayfair. We were able to get 7 of these for less than the 4 we had chosen at the local store, and they were delivered within 5 days as compared to almost 3 months! if we ordered the ones we picked out through local store. They were not hard to put together - took about 12 hour per case. These bookcases look much more expensive and we love the trim details.

Excellent storage addition to my special location in the house. Satisfied! Lots of assembly but great directions and there is help available a phone call away. We completed the task without assistance.

This is a sturdy bookcase that holds a lot of material. It's also not too hard to put together (I think it took me about two hours, using a hammer and a cordless drill / screwdriver). It also goes well with most decors.
