This chair was more than I had expected. There is no way I could have purchased this chair locally at the price I paid. Excellent quality and easy to assemble.

The appearance of this chair is wonderful, beautiful coloring and shading with the fabric. Its hard to find chairs in this color. BUT, it was noisy...after sitting in it a while, when you get up, the foam used for cushioning makes crackling noises as the air expands it to its original shape. My home burned about 2 weeks after purchasing this chair. Will I buy this one again...no.

This was my first purchase from Wayfair and I was pleasantly suprised at the great quality. It looks beautiful in my office. Very comfortable and easy to put together. The color is perfect and it is very sturdy. I would recommend this chair to anyone who wants a great price for a very expensive looking chair. I love it.

I'm replacing exactly the same chair I bought about 10 years ago but the dog has chewed when a puppy, the cats did their claws on it, and the babies deteriorated further. The mechanism was still fine, the chair just didn't look good any more. I sometimes use it a whole day long when I work from home. It is way better then the chairs we get for our offices (I am a professor at a flagship state university), the price is very nice. I like that it is fabric, I hate to get "glued on" the chair is summer (I don't like to set the AC very cold). I do care about the looks and went out of my way to find one with a wood frame and fabric, rather than plastic/fake leather and metal. It looks great in my arts and crafts bungalow with my antique desk.

Bought this to replace a similar product that needs reupholstering after many years of daily service and is going to be put into use in a sewing room. Been looking for a replacement for a couple of years with no luck until I found Wayfair. As this sits at my desk in the family room needed something not too office looking (ie black and high backed). Great service, delivered on time and extra quick with the special 2 day shipping at the time of ordering. Well packaged and all parts intact. Assembly easy. Color is slightly deeper than photo but not a problem. The chair is firm (but could be it will soften up with use). Agree with another reviewer that the wood stain is a bit thin hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
