Bestar Lateral File

This cabinet was a fabulous buy for the money. It arrived in tact with all the pieces, but it was slightly difficult to assemble.

I like that both drawers can be locked for security. leave plenty of time to assemble, its like a jig saw puzzle. I enjoyed the challenge.

I purchased this file cabinet to replace another lateral file cabinet. This one has smaller drawers, so I am unable to place letter-size files side by side -- less room for my letter-size files. However, the cabinet is much sturdier, and I like the caster under the bottom drawer for stability. The previous file cabinet had the runners already installed, so it was a bit of a challenge figuring out how to install the runners on the sides of the drawers -- instructions could have more clear or the drawer sides could have been labeled "right" and "left".

Very roomy. Extremely heavy. Although I tend to knock the bar off that holds the other end of the hanging file (it adjusts to legal size) if I'm not paying attention.
