Bestar In Space U-Shape Desk with Hutch

PROS: I bought this desk for myself recently and really like it. I love the color and the size. I needed a decent size desk but didn't want to pay $3,000 for it. You can't beat the price for this 3 piece set (around [$]. I actually purchased a second one of these desks for a new employee.CONS: It's time consuming putting the desk together. What desk isn't though? The drawers were a pain to put together and my husband had to reset/refit them so they would close properly. (Get someone to help you put the desk together that KNOWS what they are doing. It will make your life much easier.) I purchased the desk, book case and the 2 drawer file. It took my husband 5 hours to put everything together. Also, MAKE SURE that if you use the adhesive strips on the bottum of your hutch to keep it place that you know exactly where you want to put the hutch. Once you set the hutch on the desk...make sure it is even, etc. It is REALLY hard trying to life the hutch again and get the adhesive unstuck.

Very pleased with this item. A lot of working space in a compact design. Assembly is easy however is a little time consuming. Price was much cheaper than most online stores. Would definitely recommend.

I work from home and needed an affordable desk that would hold my video editing suite -- a mixture of several computers, monitors, stereo equipment, tape decks, hard drives, etc. This desk delivers me a means of organizing all of that, plus the conference table provides me a perfect working surface on which to read and write (with a plain old pen). My only caveat was the pre-drilled holes on the top desk drawer front were drilled incorrectly -- when I put the desk together the drawer fronts overlapped each other and wouldn't shut completely. I drilled new holes and the drawers now close completely ... though when I open the top, it opens the bottom as well. Other than that, everything came together over the course of a few days and seems to be holding up nicely.
