The assembly directions are terrible. It's best to lay on the floor while putting this together. The holes don't line up perfectly so you have to bend it a little, again easier if laying down.

Stands are well constructed, sturdy and very elegant looking. Pioneer BS41's are mounted to the stands with blu-tack. I feel my speakers are very secure and stable on these and I would not hesitate to purchase them again.

These stands are built well and do require a little bit of assembly. It was not a problem. This is a quality product.

Unlike a previous reviewer, I did not have any major assembly problems. The only inconvenience was that, when screwing in the screws for the base pieces, there is some give up and down, so that you will want to eyeball it as you attach them so that one side does not sit higher than the other. However, this was very minor.
Nice looking, assembly is hard

Attractive stands. But they need to work on quality control. The first one went together fairly easily, until it was time to add the feet. These screw into threaded holes in the metal base, and the threading was bad. This is a problem because you need to get all four feet screwed in at the same depth. Very frustrating. I ended up needing a vice grip, to force things. The second was much worse and took over an hour to assemble; some of the holes simply didn't line up quite straight, so bolting it together became a real problem. Not recommended if you don't have metalworking tools or a great deal of time and patience.

I was looking for a pair of sturdy acoustically neutral speaker stands, and this stand fit the bill quite well. It was pretty simple to assemble, although I must add that the fit and finish of the stand could be improved a bit. Overall, the stands are very pleasing to the eye and provide a strong, well isolated platform for my speakers. Simple and efficient, just as I prefer it.
[...] good product

I purchased these stands for their aesthetic appeal and they are even better than I thought they'd be. They are constructed with quality materials (especially the base pieces) and easy to assemble, although you may need to apply some pressure in the right places for the holes to align properly. I am very happy with my purchase and can hardly wait for the matching TV stand to arrive.
