This chair will not let you "slump." Forces you to sit upright. Adjustable lumbar feature is nice. Easiy assembled and very well constructed.

I needed a supportive, office chair to provide proper posture for the hours I spend at my home computer. This chair would be perfect for a large man, as even thought I'm a 5'9" woman, the seat is too large to get any lumbar support without an additional lumbar pillow. I did not consider returning as it is quite large and heavy and I have past back and neck surgeries. No directions came on how to operate the adjustments, I found them on the manufacturer's website after some frustration. Still, it is well made, rolls easily and I feel very stable. The seat is very firm and I will likely get a gel or memory foam pad to add.

I had a Hermann Miller Aeron chair, fully decked out, that was horrible. I sit in my chair for up to 12 hours a day, video editing. It gave me cramps and put my leg to sleep, and exacerbated lower back problems I'm still recovering from. Basically, the floating fabric of the seat pan doesn't give you nearly enough support on your spine, and cuts off leg circulation. I bought this chair as a replacement and never looked back. it's more adjustable, more comfortable, roomier and amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! it's 10 times the chair at half the price.
