Made for midgets??
Steve Sheridan from Walnut Creek, CA – Verified Buyer
I'd have given this 4 or 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that I had to build a base to sit it on to raise its height another 16" in order to be able to get it to a comfortable height for typing! Granted I'm 6'1"... but the keyboard is only 18" off the floor when at the low end of it's travel; who but a small child could even sit under something that low?? And at the high end, its only 28"--hardly even standard desk height; who could stand and type comfortably on a keyboard at that height? Other than that, it's well designed and well made, and assembles easily. But unless you're very short, be prepared to elevate the whole thing some way. Fortunately I'm handy with tools, but if you're not, I'd look elsewhere.
Balt Hi-Lo 3 40" Computer Workstation
David Lenett from Chalfont, PA – Verified Buyer
I perused the websites for a solid stand for my new WACOM digital drawing pad and the Balt seemed perfect for the task. The footprint is wide and put my mind at ease (that the pad would be safe and secure perched atop the work surface of the desk). I'm happy with the purchase and impressed with the ease and shipment / response of ordering it through Wayfair.
Great for creating a Laptop Ergo Working Area
Marv Johnson from Palm Bay, FL
Got the HI-Lo to setup an ergonomic working environment for my wife to use her laptop. Got it after trying 2 other products. That large keyboard shelf accommodates a full-sized key board and mouse with ergo mouse pad was the final sell for me. Top shelf easily fitted a widescreen 22” LCD monitor on an ergo stand. I have a TRIPP-LITE power control center just in front of the monitor that doubles as a base for the laptop with space on that shelf to spare on both the left and right sides. Not using the bottom shelf at all.
