About the Designer
Michiel van der Kley
(1962 - )
It was when Michiel van der Kley (1962) became acquainted with the design of the nineteen-twenties (during his study of history) that he decided to become a designer himself. He has been working for manufacturers at home and abroad since 1987, including Artifort. Van der Kley produces designs with a great eye for detail, from which he believes that the object derives its individuality.

The Globus is a beautiful, versatile, space-saving work station designed for public areas and office use. But it's also a perfect addition to the lobby of a hotel or the business lounge at an airport.
