wayfair was great and sent me a replacement chair... very hassle-free this chair also has the little gaps on the arms that i mentioned before, and a couple of other imperfections, but i do like it. and so far, no issues with this mounting plate. fingers crossed...

the chair is pivoting rocking in ways that it shouldn't... there appears to be an issue with the mounting plate. i am currently working with wayfair customer service to see if this can be satisfactorily resolved.

looks exactly as shown... easy to assemble. very comfy... to sit in, and the synthetic leather feels like a micro-suede or something... very nice. has a few slight imperfections... a few misplaced staples on the fabric on the underside of the seat... and a slight gap between the padded part of the armrests and the armrests themselves... but i can live with that. took about a week longer than expected to get to me... it ended up being back-ordered even though it was listed as available when purchased... but i am happy to have it now and hope it lasts for years to come.
