Sleek design, just the right size! from Las Vegas, NV on 06/04/2015 – Verified Buyer
I was looking for a sleek smaller desk that wasn't too small and I'm so glad I found this one. The construction is great, its not flimsy at all. The wheels did not come attached which was great for me cause I didn't plan on attaching them at all. My boyfriend uses a wide keyboard and the keyboard drawer on this desk is big enough for that and his mouse. Works well for me, would recommend to others.

Pros: Wide keyboard drawer, compact design, not flimsy

Marginal at best, but there are issues from Minnetonka, MN on 01/09/2016 – Verified Buyer
We purchased this desk to use for our laptop with monitor attached. While it is a decent desk and does, indeed, support the laptop, monitor, and printer, there are some issues with both the construction of the desk itself and the assembly procedure and instructions.

First of all, the assembly instructions are graphics only. This is fine, except they are not finely drawn, and is nigh impossible to make out the small details, which are very important when it comes to things like the keyboard tray mechanism. Also, the slides for the tray come attached to each other, and there are no clear directions on how to separate them for assembly on the desk itself. It would be very easy to break them entirely while trying to attach them while they are still connected to each other.

Secondly, many of the inset parts are insufficiently sturdy, and are easily deformable. There were many exclamations of dismay when a part was too loose or sloppy to fit together supportively.

Finally, we come to the desk itself... The keyboard tray is so flimsy it falls off if one looks at it crosswise. Forget actually resting your hands on it to type without supporting it from below with the knees. Resting your hand on it to use a mouse is right out, unless you want to have the whole assembly come crashing to the floor. As I was typing this, the left side attachment point, which is a wimpy nylon screw meant to fit into a too-big hole, completely detached from the bottom of the desk I am having to finish this review with the keyboard on my lap. This tray is an utter joke. Bad design and manufacturing, in my opinion. There are numerous places on the desk where the attachments should be snug and press-fit, but instead are sloppy and loose. Most of those other attachments, however, have to bear less load than the keyboard tray.

Pros: Good size for small areas. Shelf for a printer a plus.

AMT Computer Desk from Waterbury, CT on 10/09/2015 – Verified Buyer
The assembly process was not easy. Took a few hours to put this desk together. Had a difficult time trying to figure out how to put the keyboard tray on, but finally figured it out. The picture directions provided is not as helpful as I thought it would be. Overall the desk is the perfect size for what I need and it's very sturdy once you are able to assembly it.

Pros: Very sturdy and small enough to fit anywhere
Cons: Difficult to put together

Meh, it's okay from Ashburn, VA on 01/05/2016 – Verified Buyer
I bought this for my husband. It's an okay desk, nothing special. Since I'm completely clueless about putting furniture together, the task fell on my husband. He's usually good at this sort of stuff, but it took him almost 3 hours to put together. The instructions were awful and the parts are not clearly labeled. The only reason we kept it was because of the hassle of returning it after we opened the box. I would not recommend this to anyone else. Price is nothing special.

Pros: Nothing special about this piece.
Cons: Cumbersome and unclear directions on installing. Would not recommend to anyone.

You get what you pay for... from tamarac, FL on 12/28/2015 – Verified Buyer
Awful, awful, awful instructions on how to put this desk together.
Quality was poorer than I expected (some dented metal stanchions /legs) and the screw holes to hold the top of the desk to the rear stanchion had not been drilled into the metal, therefore, I was left with only 2 screws holding the top piece in place. Pilot holes for the placement of the screws for the wheels were also omitted.
Would not recommend purchasing this desk unless you are truly strapped for $$, and need the portability of a desk on wheels.

Pros: portability - it has wheels.
Cons: Overall, poor quality and workmanship.

Terrible Instructions from Allentown, New Jersey on 03/23/2013
You need to be an engineer to assemble this unit. The average person will spend numerous hours trying to decipher these instructions. What was Home Source Industries thinking when they enclosed the information to set up this Computer Cart It is all pictures that illustrate putting this cart together. You need to be mechanically inclined. If you do not know how to use a hammer, screwdriver & nails, you are in for one big surprise. From the keyboard to the coasters, you have to make you own perforated holes. The manufacturer does not do this for you. The unit only measures 31.5 width, not 32.28. The picture is an illusion. When put together, it is much smaller & was not meant to be for a printer or any other peripherals. Yes, it is a good looking computer cart, but in the long run it will not last. I suggest you buy a piece of furniture that you will be happy with. You pay for what you get!!!

Sturdy little desk from Grand Rapids, MI on 06/24/2012 – Verified Buyer
This desk is a little smaller than I expected, but a good size for a bedroom or small office. It's also quite sturdy, and makes good use of space.
My only real complaint is that it's difficult to get the keyboard tray onto its tracks.
Overall, it's a good value for someone who just needs a basic desk.
