Simple, Strong, Practical Shelf Unit
Frank from Fairport, NY– Verified Buyer
We have two of these, one in each of our kids' rooms. I bought the first a few years ago and one just months ago, and they're identical - it's hard to find any product these days that doesn't change in a few months let alone years. These are made of very strong plywood, the shelves don't warp eve when full of books. They're easy to assemble. You can use either or both of the backing panels, or leave them off for a more open look (with no perceived reduction in rigidity). They have small casters on the bottom (I suppose you could leave these off if you wanted to) - small enough to sink into pile carpet (not a bod thing, just FYI). The corners and edges are all sanded and rounded enough to be smooth, safe, comfortable for little fingers. These are very similar to the shelf units that lots of schools use. Highly recommended.
Wrong assembly instructions.
Jim from Virginia– Verified Buyer
We had an issue with assembly in that the instructions didn't seem to match the hardware. We called into customer service (which was great by the way) and they very promptly sent us a whole new set of hardware. Come to fine out, the original hardware was correct and it was the INSTRUCTIONS that were wrong! The wrong set of instructions were delivered with the unit. Once we got that figured out and customer service was able to get a hold of the manufacturer and get us the correct set of instructions, everything was fine. It's a great shelf unit. The price was great. It's well designed and constructed. We're very happy with how it turned out and we'll definitely be back for more!
shelf wheels, long shipping.
Moorea Malatt-Hicks from Seattle, WA– Verified Buyer
Took quite a long time with shipping- maybe 2.5weeks. Shelf wheels are a little rickety. Otherwise we really like it and it wasn't too hard to put together.
