Simple kitchen performs better for commercial use from Austin, TX on 01/18/2016 – Verified Buyer
I like the natural look of the wooden kitchens way better than the plastic ones. However, they do tend to have less features and get broken more easily in a childcare setting.

If you're going to buy a wooden kitchen set that needs to hold up to lots of kids, the selling points of this kitchen set are:
1.) "Hidden cubbies" are a must. I would prefer no doors on a kitchen set (ever!) because they be slammed and the hinges always break AND it is easier to lose toys this way. That said, kids love to put stuff in hidden places and are not interested in a kitchen set that just has plain shelves or baskets.
2.) Painted features/Minimal knobs are good. Again... knobs, sinks, faucets and window plates will get ripped off and/or broken within hours of putting a new kitchen set on a preschool classroom floor. I don't think our kids are any worse than other kids, it's just what happens. For that reason, the less things that can be pulled off, the better. You just have to balance this with their being enough features to make a kitchen set fun.

All in all, this kitchen was good/fine if you like the natural look. Otherwise, I would go with a plastic set that has lots of features to play with - even if it doesn't look as nice.

This is a great Kitchen for ages 3-6 from Crestview, FL on 05/05/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is a sturdy play kitchen for ages 3-6. We use this kitchen at a preschool so it gets used a lot but it holds up well. It's made for hours of fun.
