Better than expected

Item arrived in less than a week from Wayfair. I was worried because one corner of the box was damaged, but when I opened it, I realized that it was double-boxed, and the inner box was in perfect condition. The assembly process is just about the best I've seen. The instructions are excellent, all the hardware is pre-sorted and well marked in individual packages, and all the wood panels are clearly marked with stickers labeling each part. It is solid and looks way better than I would have expected for $300. It matches my furniture perfectly. I put a new 65 plasma on top which fits perfectly side-to-side. I put a home theater receiver, cable box, and bluray player behind the glass doors, and the IR remotes work fine through the glass. The wire holes in the back are only a couple of inches in diameter. The receiver runs 7 speakers and a subwoofer and is also hooked up to the bluray, the tv, a cd player, the cable box, and an Xbox. The little 2 inch hole for the receiver wires is stuffed completely full. I would recommend enlarging that hole with a rotozip saw before attempting to wire as many devices as I did. My only other minor complaint is that even though the doors are glass, the frame is wood, and the center part covers the display on the receiver. If I want to be able to read the display, I need to leave the doors open. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.
Exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted a tv cabinet that was low, sturdy, and had solid doors on the sides. This cabinet is perfect. We needed it to be low so we can mount the tv to the wall above it, but big enough to hold the dvd player and surround sound receiver in the center with the glass doors and the adjustable shelf made that possible. I also love the solid doors on either side to hide the miscellaneous assortment of dvd's, cd's and extra cables. The quality is good for the price, I got the walnut color which is a rich brown tone stain and it goes well with my darker furniture. The instructions were pretty easy to follow, and I put most of it together by myself, but hubby helped when another person was needed to help hold or lift. Took about two hours to completely assemble including opening the box and sorting the pieces.
This is an excellent piece of furniture.

Please make sure you understand that a significant amount of assembly is required. After reading another post that talked about some errors being difficult to reverse, I uncharacteristically read the directions twice before even starting. The directions are well-above average for "some assembly required" products. If you pay attention, you should have no problem. Packing was exceptional. I had no damaged pieces, and would not expect that many people would. Get your vacuum ready for a few hundred styrofoam particles. The result is a beautiful piece of furniture. The end result would not have anyone believing this came from a kit. The out-of-sight wood is particle board, but the doors, top, etc. are nicely finished real wood. We have a 60" flat-panel TV sitting on top and it looks fantastic.

This is my second purchase of this item. Well engineered, designed and manufactured for the price. Good value and looks very nice. First purchase was for a 60 LCD TV. Second purchase was for a 60 Plasma TV. The Plasma being much heavier has caused a slight bow on the top causing the doors to open and close too tightly. Product shipped via FED EX with a gash into the carton and had a little damage I suspect was caused by a fork lift truck. I elected to accept delivery. There was some damage to the unit. Fortunately the damage was on the back edge of the top panel. I am still quite satisfied.
High quality product at a great price

I'm very happy with this purchase. The quality of this TV stand can't be understated. As with most self assembled furniture, there always seems to be problems with pieces not lining up correctly or poor instructions, etc. Not with this one! This piece was delivered to my home very quickly and it was packaged very securely with each piece wrapped individually fully protected. The instruction guide was very easy to follow and all of the pieces fit very well together. Once assembled, this stand looks like a very high end piece you would pay much more for in a retail furniture store. If you're unsure about buying a unassembled piece of furniture, don't hesitate to make this purchase. It's well worth it and will give your TV a great new home!
Good final but assembly has glitches
Barry from Sandy Springs, GA – Verified Buyer
I'm pleased with the overall appearance and finish. Shipping was prompt and there was no damage, partly due to the very careful packing. However, the "cam-lock" fastners are difficult to secure and allowed for my use of several words not usually heard in my house. It's a good idea to have a helper for stability and moral support. This took approximately three hours to assemble properly. It would be a good idea to have about 5 or 6 extra cam-locks supplied since some will inevitably get hogged-out. Also, I found that a large flat-bladed screwdriver was preferable to a phillips-head in securing the cam-locks.
GREAT TV STAND
Sharon from Lawton, OK – Verified Buyer
This is a perfect stand for our 70" TV. We have the TV mounted on the wall, but it holds all the added components attractively. Plenty of room for extra storage. Assembly took about 30-45 minutes, requires two people to facilitate efficiently, but not difficult. Some parts of the instructions were a bit confusing, but not impossible to follow. Color was a perfect match to the wood parts of our other furniture. Very pleased! Pros: Size, color, storage space and style. Cons: Instructions could be clearer.

Had it for over 6 months and still love it. Looks like high end furniture, and like that it is not particleboard. Only weird point is that it has these 2 dowel feet in the middle to provide support. Make you you dont drag the piece to move it or these feet will pull off (they give you this warning in the assembly instructions!
Quality in a box

I needed to find a sturdy, but low profile entertainment cabinet for a 60 inch tv. After looking many places, in stores and on line, I hit on this piece from Wayfair. It is solid wood and very substantial. It doesn't look like it came in a box, but rather like something that came out of a furniture store. My husband (who is not a handyman!) and I put it together easily. I highly recommend this product.
Good TV stand
Corina from Malden, MA – Verified Buyer
This TV stand fits my 48’ flat screen TV perfectly. If you have a bigger TV you might want to look for a bigger stand. I love the dark wood color. I was concerned that it might be a little reddish, but the color is not. Instructions for assembly were easy to follow and it took my two siblings about two hours to complete. The only thing that I would have liked would be for the stand to be a bit taller. Overall good product for an excellent price.
